Hi, I’m Gianna!

My journey into this work began with the pregnancy and birth of my daughter. As I prepared to welcome her into the world, I fell in love with all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Having a doula by my side provided unwavering support- something that left a lasting impact and sparked a deep realization: this is the work I’m meant to do.

With nearly a decade of experience working with infants and toddlers, along with a degree in Childhood Studies, I already had a strong foundation in supporting young families. When I stepped away from that to stay home during my pregnancy, I had no idea it would lead me to such a fulfilling path- but I’m so grateful it did.

Today, I bring all of that experience into my doula work, offering emotion, physical, and informational support to families during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. My goal is to help you feel informed, empowered, and confident as you navigate this life-changing journey.

I am a CAPPA-trained and certified labor doula, an ABI-trained postpartum doula, and a certified VBAC doula through The VBAC Link. My approach is individualized and unbiased- I like to say “I go with whatever your flow is.” I believe birth is a powerful, transformative experience, and I’m here to support you with compassionate, evidence-based care every step of the way.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me outdoors walking, hiking, doing yoga, or gardening with my husband Alex, our daughter, and our dog. And when I get a quiet moment to myself, I’m crocheting or curled up with a good book.
