“We couldn't have imagined going through our birth experience without Gianna. From our initial conversation, she gave off an extremely professional and well-informed impression. When we met with her for our first in person consultation, she gave us tons of information, things to expect, things to think about, and a good sense of what she would be assisting us with. Then, to our immense surprise - weeks before my due date and when she would have gone "on call" for us - my water broke unexpectedly the very next night. We texted Gianna with no real expectation that she'd be ready to rush over, and she was with us in a matter of hours. She only left briefly when we were comfortable, and then came back to help support us for the full labor as things started to progress. She was always reachable, always a steady and calming presence, and helped give us reassurance at every step of this unexpected experience. Her coaching, gentle touch, and breathing assistance really helped get me through labor in a way that's hard to imagine without her.
